Launch of Nordic office for GHO

To develop the important and lucrative Nordic and Baltic markets, Great Hotels Organisation (GHO) is establishing a regional presence in Norway, Sweden and Denmark this March.

The new GHO initiative is being managed by Chris Anastassiou, an experienced luxury hotel and travel professional. Latterly, he held the position of Leptos Calypso Hotels Group General Manager and has also been heavily involved in the development of the five-star Paphos Amathus Beach Hotel, Aphrodite Hills and Thalassa in Cyprus.

Anastassiou’s new team will assist GHO members to enter the Nordic and Baltic regions, position their hotels, secure business and enjoy consistent sales growth within the leisure travel, corporate transient and MICE sectors. Another important responsibility of the Nordic/Baltic team is to recruit new hotel members for both the Great Hotels of the World and Special Hotels of the World brands.
