Access over 40,000 trade buyers globally

Tivoli Hotels, one of Portugal’s biggest luxury hotel groups, has recommended the ContaX database as an effective way of accessing 40,000 trade buyers globally, including meeting planners, tour operators and travel agents.

ContaX is a web-based system that allows members to access these contacts in real time by using their own password and user name. Tivoli Sales and Marketing Director Rita Alves Machado told Great News: “We search the database by selecting the type of contacts we need in the country, region or city we are targeting. For example, we used it to search for Italian meeting planners who we could invite to our stand when we took part in a trade fair in Florence. We also relied on ContaX to help us target German tour operators and travel agencies.

“It is available 24 hours a day, allowing our staff across 12 hotels to access data whenever they need it. The markets of Europe and the US are well represented, which reflects our sales strategy.”
