 GHO brings tech team in-house
GHO has made the decision to bring its software team in-house. In August 2006, Joakim Persson joined as Chief Technical Officer, having previously headed up the development team of G-rez and G-wiz when they were handled by a third party.
Joakim brought one team member with him and has since recruited three more. The rapid growth of his division means a further two will shortly be joining the company. “We already have full technical support for our member hotels in-house via the Great Hotels Academy, but having the software development on-site we can focus on creating new, exciting products,” he says. “Online reservation engines like G-wiz offer a service to independent hotels that do not have their own booking engine. Thanks to our software, customers can make bookings directly and hotels can manage their own rates online.” |
