of our first annual members’
conference
GHO hosted its first
annual members’ conference in
Estoril, Portugal, at the newly restored
Hotel Palacio.
The key areas at the conference,
which took place in September 2007,
were trends in the industry, electronic
distribution, sales and marketing.
From both GHO experts
and outside speakers, members learned
how to increase their customers’
knowledge of their brand and how to
double their net bookings in a year.
GHO also presented
future plans and developments, inviting
members to discuss opportunities and
other issues. Dunja Kirchner, L'Abbaye
de Talloires in France, said: “In
exchanging experiences between the
GHO and the members
we can make this brand a powerful
selling organisation for the benefit
of us all.”
The conference, lasting three days, brought
together the GHO
team, industry experts and members
for lively discussions in the day
programme and social events and networking
in the evenings.

This year’s annual members’
conference will take place from the
12th to the 14th of September in the
Plaza Resort Hotel in Greece.
