The Landmark London launches new spa
London’s Landmark
Hotel’s newly-opened Spa and
Health Club is quickly becoming one
of the top spa destinations in the
capital. A member of Great Hotels
of the World since September 2006,
the five-star luxury hotel’s
new spa features will be a wonderful
addition to a truly extraordinary
hotel.
Following a £2 million spend,
the exclusive spa opened in the summer
of 2007 and offers a contemporary
and luxurious environment where you
can relax and be pampered. Complete
with a 15-metre semi-ozone swimming
pool, a glass-walled poolside Klafs
sanarium, menthol and sandalwood showers,
steam rooms, a whirlpool,treatment
rooms and gym, the spa will be a heavenly
getaway for both guests and non-guests.
Its exceptional location in the heart
of Marylebone, around the corner from
Selfridge’s, is perfect for
shopping.
A full range of treatments, including
massages and facials, are available.
After treatments you can indulge in
the relaxation area where iPods are
provided. With a procession of four
relaxation loungers, seasonal fruits
and complimentary drinks, this is
an oasis of calm.
From a design perspective, the focal point
at the poolside is the rear wall which
is recessed, clad with limestone,
and flooded with light to give a striking
backdrop to the pool. The pool area
is modern with clean lines, while
the ceiling over the pool features
solid timber slats in a contemporary
Japanese style. Dedon rattan spa furniture
is featured in the lounge area and
along the poolside, while the Klafs
steam rooms are located in the changing
rooms.
The Landmark’s Spa and Health Club
is sure to be the ‘it’
urban oasis in London for 2008.
