Great Hotels Organisation is teaming up with Cultuzz, which places travel offers on ebay, the world’s most popular online shopping website.

Reaching over 94 million registered users worldwide, and with 17 million visitors a month in Germany alone, eBay is fast becoming an important distribution channel for hotels. Marriott, Raffles, Sofitel and Mövenpick are just a few of the hotel groups currently offering rooms on eBay.

GHO’s distribution deal with Cultuzz is a fantastic opportunity to increase hotel business through this unique online medium. eBay offers an excellent platform to place room nights and packages through bidding – the hotel simply sets a minimum price for their offer (undisclosed to the consumer) and bids are then placed, with the room or package going to the highest offer.
