GHO members offer unique spa experience
An exotic, unique Indian Spa experience is now available from four of our Luxury Spa Hotels.
Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces have introduced Jiva – an authentic Indian spa experience. The treatments are inspired by ancient Indian healing wisdom rooted in the philosophy that jiva, or ‘life force’ is the bedrock of wellness.
The Jiva experience takes into account every facet of the treatment. Therapies are carried out in specially equipped facilities designed exclusively for this method. The décor is minimalist and incorporates elements of Vastushastra, the traditional Indian canon of space planning, with fragrant gardens, courtyards, water features and ocean views creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.
All of the products used are uniquely created from Indian herbs, aromatherapy oils, natural creams and special ingredients, while the highly trained therapists guide guests though their treatments with complete dedication to their role as healers.
Jiva Spas offer a rich selection of experiences and treatments.
They are already established in 16 Taj hotels, four of which are GH members – Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Mauritius, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives, Taj Exotica Bentota, Sri Lanka, and Taj Exotica Goa – and are being introduced in a phased manner across the other hotels in the group. |
